Welcome to the part of the site where we highlight some of the interesting things happening in our classrooms. The South Australian school curriculum is divided into 8 areas of study. At Angle Vale Primary parents are provided information in two areas of study per term. This way all 8 areas of study are covered over the year. The process of assessment and reporting is an integral part of our practise throughout the year and crucial to successful teaching and learning. Assessment and reporting is an ongoing process and it is the right of parents to be fully informed regarding their child's progress. Accordingly it is important that reporting to parents is relevant and appropriate to their needs and is manageable for teaching staff. Student learning is maximised where there is sound three way communication between teacher parent and student.
